Summary

Administrative Assistant 1

Administrative Assistant I

Purpose:  Under the direct supervision of the business operations director this position provides administrative support to the president of the firm. In addition to typing, filing, and scheduling, performs duties such as answering and directing phone calls, set up and/or maintain project spreadsheets, prepare and send project documentation, oversee the technical library and assist with bidding projects. Answers non-routine correspondence and assembles highly confidential and sensitive information. Deals with a diverse group of external callers and visitors as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize diversified workload.

                                                      

Work Schedule: 7:30 am – 5:30 pm Monday through Thursday and 8:00 am – 12:00 pm Friday (minimum). Hours will vary on holiday weeks.

  • Develops/maintains project/proposal databases and folders. Establishes, develops, maintains, and updates filing system. Maintains document control for the office.

Director of Civil Engineering

To lead and direct EIKON’s Civil Engineering discipline. This role will develop, coordinate, manage, and lead the operations and productivity of our civil operations, including a high focus on marketing/business development, manpower planning and workload management, financial accountability, administration, technical services, quality control and assurance, employee performance and development, overall success and morale, etc.; directly lead and manage the efforts of all projects and services provided to both new and existing clients; represent the company both internally and externally in all aspects associated with the company.

 

Work Schedule: 7:30 am- 5:30 pm Monday through Thursday; 8:00 am-12:00 pm Friday (minimum).

 

Essential Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of civil engineering

EIKON is seeking a Director of Marketing to lead and support marketing-related strategies including rfqs/soqs, brand development, writing, communications and graphic design. The Director of Marketing is a vital part of the firm to position and promote the company with clients, the media and in the marketplace.

 

Requirements & Experience

  • Software proficiencies should include Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Creative Suite(InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Adobe Acrobat and CRM systems
  • Minimum of 4 years of marketing experience in the A/E/C industry
  • Superior written communication skills including writing, proofing and editing
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field
  • A background in branding and graphic design is a plus, but not required

This position will be part of EIKON’s MEP Engineering Division in our Plano, Texas office. This Mechanical Engineer will work under the guidance of the Senior Mechanical Engineer and will be responsible for preparing HVAC construction drawings and specifications, coordinating with Electrical and Plumbing Engineers/Designers, running load calculations, and reviewing shop drawings and submittals.

  • Design of HVAC systems for both new construction and renovations.
  • Create plans and schematics, perform calculations necessary for equipment selections, and provide systems narratives and specifications.
  • Work with a team of designers and support personnel.
