The new Denton County Precinct 3 Government Center is located adjacent to the Lee Walker Government Center in Lewisville.  The 2 story 41,934 square foot facility will accommodate the Community Supervision and Corrections, Constable, County Clerk Precinct 3, Department of Public Safety, Justice of the Peace, County Commissioner, Tax Assessor-Collector, Veterans Services, and support spaces.  The facility’s exterior is highlighted by a grand front porch clad in cast stone with the remainder of the building being clad in a traditional palette of brick and cast stone accents.  The building is punctuated by arched windows and a colonnade along the ground level of its front face.  In keeping with the public nature of the structure, it is capped with a bronze colored standing seam metal roof.  The interiors of the new Government Center maintain the same traditional palette as the exterior, combining classic finishes, like natural stone, with detailed metal railings and rich wood tones to create a timeless design.  The materials used in the interior of the building are traditional in their color palette and style; giving the area community a lasting legacy. The project is registered for LEED, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, and is attempting to achieve LEED Silver Certification.
