EIKON provided prime professional design services for this new band hall for Gainesville ISD’s Robert E. Lee Intermediate.

The music program at Robert E. Lee Intermediate had grown to exceed their previous space and needed more room for their students. The design of this 5,000 SF band hall includes an open ensemble area with movable partitions that can divide the space into three smaller rooms. This provides flexible spaces to meet current and future needs.

EIKON designed for an ample amount of instrument storage for trombones, euphoniums, flutes, clarinets, trumpets, and alto saxes. The new band hall addition includes an office with instrument repair space as well as men and women’s restrooms.

The pre-engineered building is clad in masonry that complements the existing campus. A covered walkway joins the addition with the existing facility. EIKON also designed improvements for the school’s site to accommodate increased bus traffic and vehicle parking for the incoming flow of students.

This new band hall facility will provide an opportunity for the Gainesville ISD Music Program to grow and offer additional resources for the students of Robert E. Lee Intermediate School.
