The approximately 41,000 square-foot facility was completed in July 2012. It houses the Central Fire Station, the Police Station, Exercise Facilities, and the Administrative Offices for all.
The building is located adjacent to the Town Hall. It complements the existing architecture and enhances the campus-like plan of the town’s civic center. Some elements of the building are shared by both entities. The main entry lobby and reception area feed directly into a large community room that also functions as a training facility and Emergency Operations Center.
The Town of Little Elm is currently experiencing tremendous growth, and this building sets the tone for future construction.
Jim Wilson Architects oversaw this project and has since dissolved. Jim Wilson, former owner, is the Principal Architect for EIKON Consulting Group.
