EIKON is the prime professional for this new three-bay fire station for the City of Sherman.

The new Sherman Fire Station #4 will provide updated facilities for the city’s firefighters. It will also be in a better location to serve the southern half of the city. Previously located on the southeast corner of FM 1417 and Highway 75, Fire Station #4 will soon be on the west side of Northgate Drive in the Blalock Industrial Park.

Originally built in 1968, the original Sherman Fire Station #4 had not undergone any improvements or renovations. EIKON is master planning a fire station, EMS building, and training tower to fit on the seven-acre site.

The new Sherman Fire Station #4 will be approximately 14,000 square feet. It will include apparatus bays, firefighter living space, and support spaces. The EMS building will be approximately 3,700 square feet and include office space and storage for EMS supplies. The training building will be approximately 3,400 square feet and include a large training room and support spaces.
