EIKON’s principal architect, Jim Wilson, provided architectural design alongside EIKON’s engineers who provided structural design for this 3,700 SF facility. The design was created with consideration to provide a safe and healthy environment for all animals in the care of the Town of Little Elm’s community shelter. The new shelter provided much needed space while also providing a community friendly and professional environment. Little Elm’s new shelter includes 26 dog kennels with exterior runs, a cat room, quarantine space, an exam room, an office, and a reception area. EIKON’s design included the use of durable materials and efficient space planning to provide a shelter that will serve Little Elm for many years.
